Disposable Finish Stick

Master Tools Disposable Finish Stick - disposable finishing sticks

Disposable Finish Stick from Master Tools is a set of disposable finishing sticks, 16 pieces in the package. In shape they resemble a cotton swab, but thanks to a firmer core the head is noticeably stiffer than that of an ordinary cosmetic swab: it holds its shape, it does not fray and you can really press it onto the surface of a model. It is not a sanding or polishing stick with an abrasive - it is an applicator and wiping tool for finishing work. It is a modeling aid, not a kit; the model, paints and decals are not included in the package.

Use

• Holding and settling decals - the stick pushes out the air bubbles and the excess water without scratching the decal.
• Wiping away excess paint, wash or glue from edges and around a joint.
• Polishing small parts and small areas once dry.
• Blending weathering - creating running streaks and soft transitions while weathering.
• Cleaning up corners that neither a finger nor a cloth can reach.

Who it is for

For modelers who want the finishing phase of a build under control - decals, weathering and the final clean-up. The firmer head is an advantage anywhere a soft swab merely slides over the surface, collapses or falls apart and leaves fibers behind. A consumable - it pays to keep several to hand.

A disposable aid. Throw the stick away after use with solvents, glues or weathering products. Ventilate when working with solvent-based preparations. Keep out of the reach of small children.
