Carbide drilling and milling heads, third version, three to a package, from DSPIAE. They fit into a modeling mini drill or a grinding pen.
Responsibility details are not available.
Three working heads of a tungsten-based sintered material for a modeling mini drill or an electric grinding pen. This is the third of three comparable packages the brand makes; they differ in the shape of the cutting edge, so they can be put together step by step for different work. The heads remove material in places a knife and a file cannot reach.
Clamp the head with a short overhang and work at low speed without pressure. The rate of removal is set by the cutting edge, not by your hand; under pressure the plastic heats up with friction and the melted material sticks to the head, which you then have to clean laboriously. Proceed in short touches and blow the chips away as you go.
The material is hard but brittle, and sideways levering will break it. Protect your eyes when working with a power tool. Do not breathe in the dust from resin and filler, work in a ventilated room and wipe the work area with a damp cloth afterward. Store the heads separately so that the cutting edges do not rub against each other.
Before buying, check that the collet of your tool matches the shank of the heads. Shank diameters differ between manufacturers and an adapter is not usually supplied. The heads are supplied on their own; a mini drill and a grinding pen are not included in the package.
