An accessory set of the Big Ed line in 1:48 scale for a model of the American A-10C Thunderbolt II attack aircraft. The extent of the package and what the individual parts are for are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The A-10C is an American single-seat attack aircraft built around a single task: the support of ground units right over the battlefield. The whole layout of the machine corresponds to that. A pair of turbofans sit high on the sides of the rear fuselage, where the wing and the tail surfaces shield them, the cockpit is set in an armored tub and a seven-barrel rotary cannon of 30 mm caliber is housed in the nose. The aircraft is built for long loitering over the target at low altitude and for taking a hit and getting back. The C form brought modernized avionics, a cockpit with color displays and the ability to work with precision-guided munitions.
Big Ed brings several accessory sets for one model together in one package, so they do not have to be hunted down one at a time. Which sets this package contains and which kit it is cut for is given by the manufacturer in the enclosed list and in the instructions.
Follow the instructions and try the parts dry in place before gluing; with accessory sets some of the plastic often has to be removed or thinned down first. Work in order from the interior compartments outwards, because once the fuselage is glued you will no longer get into the cockpit. Lay the small parts out on a mat and pick them up with tweezers, not with your fingers. Choose the glue according to the material of the part and apply only as much as will not overflow.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
