Acrylic Color VIRIDIAN GREEN

Acrylic Color Viridian Green - a saturated blue-green

Viridian Green is a green shifted toward blue, as the Acrylic Color figure line from Green Stuff World offers it. It is a strong shade that works well on fabrics, scales, magical effects and patinated metal. The paint is an acrylic, it thins with water and it mixes with other acrylics.

Glazing and working in a thin coat

• Saturated greens often pay off applied thinned and in more passes. The color builds its saturation gradually and does not flood the engraved detail.
• A glaze over a dry highlight shifts the tone of a whole area while letting the modeling show through, and that is the quickest way to get depth onto a figure without laborious shading.
• Let every coat dry, or you will dissolve the previous one with the brush and the area will be patchy.
• For thinned paint a wet palette is a great help, as the mix stays usable all evening.
• It thins with water or with an acrylic thinner, never with a lacquer one.

Who the color is for

For painters of fantasy figures who want a saturated green with a cool shift, and for players who use it to tie an army together or to set individual detachments apart. It is usable on copper patina, on water effects on bases and on gaming accessories. When you mix yellow or blue into it, one bottle gives you a whole band of greens from poisonous to cool sea green.

A water-thinnable acrylic. Store out of reach of children, ventilate during longer work and close the bottle tightly after use.
