A set of three-dimensional SPACE decals for the AH-64E in 1:35 scale from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings color interior detail with relief onto the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a set of decals from the SPACE line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a plastic model of the AH-64E Apache Guardian attack helicopter in 1:35 scale. Unlike ordinary decals, these motifs are not flat: they are printed with relief, so once applied they read three-dimensionally and they are finished in color. It is not a model or a kit but an accessory for the basic kit.
Three-dimensional decals are a way to get richly broken-up, colored detail onto a model without spraying small areas and without assembling fine metal parts. They suit above all where the plastic is smooth or only suggested. On a modern attack helicopter with a glazed cockpit such equipment is clearly visible, which is why the set pays off.
The surface has to be clean, degreased and smooth; carefully cut away any plastic details the decal replaces and sand the area back. Cut each motif out with a sharp scalpel right at the edge and seat it with tweezers, so it does not fold over. With a sponge and a drop of detergent, moisten only the backing paper, lift the element off it and fix it in place with white PVA glue; do not use a decal softener or setting solution, which would attack the printed resin and ruin the element. Once it is dry, the surface can be evened out with a matte varnish.
This is an accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
