Js Work Airbrush CAMO-MASK – Leopard 1 / A4 Greek army 1:35

A set of self-adhesive masking films of the CAMO-MASK line from Js Work, intended for a model of the Leopard 1 tank in the A4 version in the Greek army finish, 1:35 scale. The masks are pre-cut to the shape of one particular camouflage pattern, so they let you apply a multicolor camouflage with both hard and soft transitions using an airbrush, without laborious tracing by hand. The package contains neither paints nor the model; it is purely a masking aid.

The real subject

The Leopard 1 is a main battle tank developed in Germany, which thanks to its mobility and reliability spread into the armament of a number of European armies. The Greek army operated versions of the Leopard 1 family for many years and used its own multicolor camouflage scheme, whose pattern this set of masks reproduces.

Use

• first spray the model in the base (lower) color of the camouflage and let it dry
• lay the films onto the right places according to the enclosed guide
• spray a further camouflage color over them and remove the masks carefully once the paint has set
• for soft transitions the masks can be lifted slightly above the surface
