Airbrush CAMO-MASK for 1/48 Greek Air Force F-5A, 343rd "Star" Squadron, 1998.

Airbrush CAMO-MASK 1:48 Hellenic Air Force F-5A, 343rd Star Squadron (Js Work)

The set from Js Work contains pre-cut self-adhesive masking films that mark out the shapes of the camouflage scheme on the model. It lets the modeler apply multicolor camouflage with an airbrush precisely and without cutting masks by hand. It is not a paint and not a kit, but a masking aid for painting one particular scheme.

The real subject

The F-5A Freedom Fighter is an American single-seat light supersonic fighter. This scheme corresponds to a machine of the 343rd Star Squadron of the Hellenic Air Force as it was in 1998. The films follow the layout of the color fields of that particular camouflage.

Use

• Stick the films onto the base color you have already sprayed, following the enclosed layout.
• Press the edges and recesses down firmly so that paint does not creep under the mask.
• Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats; do not stretch the films.
• Once dry, remove the masks and reveal the sharp camouflage transition.

Who the set is for

For modelers of fighter aircraft in 1:48 scale who want to achieve accurate edges of the camouflage pattern without laborious hand masking.

The set does not contain the model, paints or glue. It serves only for masking during airbrush painting.
