A modeling tool of the pinwheel type, that is a toothed wheel on a handle. Rolling it over a surface lets you suggest an even row of dimples.
Responsibility details are not available.
A pinwheel is a toothed wheel set in a handle. You run it over the surface of a part and its teeth press evenly spaced dimples into the material. In modeling this is how rows of rivets are suggested on surfaces where the kit does not carry them, or how rows are restored after they have been sanded away while filling and cleaning up joints.
The spacing of the teeth decides how dense the row will be and, together with the scale of the model, whether the result will look convincing. Before you use it, check the spacing and the diameter of the wheel in the manufacturer's data and compare them with the scale you build in. Proceed carefully on thin walls, because they bow under pressure.
The tool will be appreciated by modelers who finish the surface detail of aircraft, vehicles and ships and want their riveting to stay even along its whole length. The handle with the wheel makes up the delivery; the model, abrasives and paints are not included, unless stated otherwise.
