The collector kit captures the British flagship hypercar in 1:24 scale. Alpha Model builds it as a resin model for experienced modelers, that is for those who are willing to take on a body that needs sanding, filling and honest painting. The reward is a crisply cast shape that is hard to find in injection-molded plastic.
The One-77 was created as a deliberately limited flagship of the brand and it takes its name from the number of cars built. Under the long front hood sits a naturally aspirated 7.3-liter twelve-cylinder engine, the aluminum body is carried by a carbon-fiber monocoque, and the whole car was conceived from the start as a showcase of what the British carmaker can do. It was presented at the end of the first decade of this century and its silhouette is still among the most striking the brand has signed. It became a collector's piece before it left the factory hall.
Wash the resin castings in lukewarm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears. Cut the casting blocks off with a modeling saw rather than with nippers, and sand them wet with your airways protected. Cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) holds the joints. Prepare the body with a filler primer, then lay down the color and finally a gloss clear coat, which can be polished to depth once it has cured.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
