Aotake Green Primer

Mr.Paint Aotake Green Primer (30 ml)

Mr.Paint Aotake Green Primer is a solvent-based acrylic lacquer from Mr.Paint, supplied in a 30 ml bottle. The paint is thin in consistency and comes pre-thinned for immediate spraying with an airbrush. Aotake was the characteristic translucent blue-green protective coating with which the Japanese protected the internal metal surfaces of their aircraft against corrosion during the Second World War - interiors, landing gear bays and the inside of the airframe. This shade represents its greener variant and serves as a translucent, undercoat blue-green tone.

Use

• Intended exclusively for the airbrush - the paint is thin in consistency and is not suitable for a brush
• Pre-thinned for direct use; for a finer coat thin it with the thinner of the same maker
• Spray in thin coats at low pressure, ideally over a suitable primer
• Suitable for interiors, landing gear bays and the internal metal surfaces of Japanese WWII aircraft
• It dries fast and covers well; the maker's thinner can also be used to clean the airbrush
