AS-1 Dark Green 100ml

Tamiya AS-1 Dark Green (IJN), an aircraft lacquer in a spray

A synthetic lacquer spray from Tamiya from the AS line, which is tuned specially for aircraft models. The Dark Green shade matches the dark green upper camouflage of the aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service (IJN) in the Second World War. It is a flat, muted tone without sheen that looks natural at scale viewing distance. The can holds 100 ml, which is enough for roughly two to three models in 1:48 scale or one model in 1:32.

Use

• Spraying the upper green camouflage on models of Japanese naval aircraft
• Sprayed straight from the can in thin coats, no airbrush needed
• It does not attack dry acrylic or enamel coats and can be applied over a cured base
• Shake the can thoroughly before spraying and apply the paint from a sufficient distance

Who it is for

For aircraft modelers who want a quick and even flat finish without an airbrush. Because it is a solvent-based lacquer, test it first on a scrap area with delicate surfaces.

Flammable. Use in a well ventilated space away from sources of ignition, ideally with a respirator. The lacquer is not water-thinnable.
