A paint from the ATOM line under the designation ATOM-20119. Azure blue is a bright, open tone close to the color of a summer sky, lighter than navy blue and cooler than a blue leaning to violet. On a model it reads cleanly and takes lightening with white well, so it can also be worked in gradations.
Blue of this kind is used on the undersurfaces of aircraft, on the blue fields of insignia and markings, on the clothing of figures and on small items in a scene, from drums to the door of a cottage. It also serves as an additive: a drop in gray cools and brightens it, a drop in green takes away some of the yellow. Exactly that kind of small-scale mixing is how you rid a model of the look of paint poured straight from the bottle.
Stir the contents thoroughly before use; the pigment settles at the bottom when the paint stands. The base must be smooth and degreased. Blue covers less well than dark shades, so apply it in several thin coats and let them become tacky between one another; a single heavy coat fills the fine surface detail and dries unevenly. Use the thinner intended for this line; the thinning ratio and the drying time are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging. Close the bottle carefully after work and wipe the neck, because dried residue on the thread will stop it closing properly next time.
The volume of the package is given on the packaging and in the manufacturer's information. The thinner, brushes and other modeling supplies are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
