ATOM COLOR Violet is a modeling paint from the Spanish brand AMMO of Mig Jimenez from the ATOM range. A violet shade from the violet group of the ATOM range, meant more for figures and colorful subjects.

The shade is named in full ATOM COLOR Violet and in the ATOM range it opens a complete violet group, in which purple, amethyst, orchid and other related tones follow. Violet is a color of two faces in modeling: it hardly ever appears on military vehicles, while on figures, fantasy and science-fiction subjects and on color effects it is irreplaceable. Violet is the basic, pure violet tone in this group, from which the other shades follow.
The paint is aimed mainly at players and collectors of figures and at modelers of fantasy and science-fiction subjects. It also proves itself where violet is to play the role of a cool shadow: in art practice it is used to deepen dark areas without reaching for black. Anyone building a whole violet palette will find following shades in the range, from lighter to darker.
Mix the bottle before opening it and during the work, so that the shade stays even. Build the paint up gradually in thin coats: you will get a more even surface and keep the detail of the surface. It pays to make a test coat on an offcut, especially when you combine the shade with shading or glazes. Take the method of application and the drying time from the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging. Work with good ventilation and keep the paint out of the reach of children.
