An ATOM COLOR modeling paint from AMMO of Mig Jimenez in the yellow-green shade of the zinc chromate primer, known as Zinc Chromate Yellow.
Responsibility details are not available.
ATOM COLOR Zinc Chromate Yellow is a yellow-green shade matching the zinc chromate primer. That primer protected aluminum structures against corrosion, above all on American aircraft of the Second World War. So the color does not appear on visible surfaces but where nobody but a mechanic normally looks: in cockpits, on the inner faces of covers and doors, in landing gear and bomb bays and on the structure under the skin.
Shake the pot thoroughly before use; otherwise settled pigment comes out unevenly in the sprayed coat. Choose the thinner the manufacturer specifies for the ATOM range and keep to the thinning ratio given on the packaging; do not carry habits from other ranges over to this paint. Apply several light coats instead of one heavy one, because in an interior a heavy coat loses the fine relief of ribs and instruments.
Most often in the cockpit and in the bays of models of American aircraft. The appearance of the finish differed on real machines according to the maker and the batch, from a pronounced yellow to a greenish tone, so a small deviation from another paint brand is not a mistake. Once it has dried, bring the area to life with a darker shade in the corners and a fine highlight on the edges, otherwise the interior looks flat.
Thinner, brushes and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
