The ATOM Metallic Aluminium modeling paint by AMMO of Mig Jimenez, a metallic aluminum shade. The thinner and the thinning ratio follow the manufacturer instructions on the packaging.
Responsibility details are not available.
Metallic Aluminium is a metallic aluminum shade from the ATOM modeling range. It suits anywhere a surface is meant to read as bare metal: on unpainted areas of skin, on exhausts, on worn step edges, on rubbed patches of walkways or on small vehicle accessories. The metallic look gives the paint a delicate sheen that changes with the viewing angle, so the surface does not read as a flat gray.
Metal pigments settle at the bottom of the container, so shake and stir the paint thoroughly before every use; without that the spray comes out uneven. Choose the thinner the manufacturer specifies for this range and keep to the thinning ratio given on the packaging. Do not carry habits from other ranges over here. Apply several light coats instead of one heavy one and let the paint flash off between them.
A metallic shade forgives the base nothing. Sanding scratches, fingerprints and poorly smoothed putty stand out under an aluminum paint, so even the area out, smooth it and degrease it beforehand. Mask a dried coat carefully, as metallic surfaces are easily damaged by rubbing and by tape being pulled off; where the sequence allows it, leave metallic areas until the end of the painting.
The thinner, brushes and airbrush are not included, unless stated otherwise.
