A black display plinth 6x6x6 cm with a back wall from Green Stuff World. The middle size in the range of presentation plinths: a top surface with a 6 cm edge will take a model on a wider base or a figure in a dynamic pose reaching out beyond the footprint of the foundation. It is neither a model nor a kit but an accessory for displaying finished work.

Use

• Displaying a painted figure on a wider base, for which a smaller plinth would not look sufficient.
• Presenting a small tableau with a figure and one element of terrain, for example rubble or a tree trunk.
• Photographing a model against a dark background, which screens out the surroundings and lets the transitions of color stand out.
• Unifying the look of a display case if you already use other sizes from the same range.
• Raising a model to eye level, so that the details of the upper surfaces and the face can be seen.
• A permanent place for a model that gets picked up often; the plinth is taken hold of instead of the figure itself and the paintwork does not suffer.

Who it is for

For figure painters and collectors who work with larger bases or with models in motion and need some room around them. Compared with the smallest variant in the range it offers a centimeter more on each side, which tells precisely with poses reaching out beyond the outline of the base. When you are building a tableau of several characters, reach for the largest size in the range. If you are still choosing and do not know how large the models you will display are, this middle size is a safe option: a smaller figure will not lose emphasis on it and a larger one will still fit.
