Modeling screws with a cone head and a torx recess, 1.1 mm in size.
Responsibility details are not available.
On a real motorcycle almost everything is held by screws, and their heads are nicely in view: on the brake discs, on the mounting of the calipers, on the covers and on the frame. A model where these places are smooth comes across as soft and somehow unfinished. A small head of the right shape does not draw attention to itself, but the eye ties it to a real machine at once.
These are screws with a cone head and a torx recess, in the 1.1 mm size. Torx appears on machines only in more recent times, so it suits above all where the detail is to match present-day machinery and not a design half a century old. Within one model it is good to keep to one type of head on a group of joints that belong together.
Work with fine-tipped tweezers and over a pad from which a part that springs away can be found again. Pre-drill the hole with a bit matching the size, try the part dry and only then glue it. If the part has no thread, glue it into the pre-drilled hole. Apply the glue with the tip of a toothpick or a piece of wire in a really small amount, because a drop that runs out around the head takes far longer to remove than it took to appear.
They suit builders of motorcycles and other models where the joints are exposed and the heads of the screws stay visible even once the build is done.
The package holds the screws only. A model, glue and paints are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
