A cylindrical head with a recessed drive and no washer, size 1.1 mm. A middle grade of the selection for clearly visible places.
Responsibility details are not available.
Choosing the size by eye is a habit, but there is a more reliable way. A real bolt with a recessed drive in the M8 size has a head roughly thirteen millimeters in diameter. Divide that by twelve, which is the most usual scale of motorcycle kits, and you get 1.1 mm, that is exactly this grade.
The other sizes are worked out by the same procedure. A smaller bolt with a head around ten millimeters comes out at eight tenths, a heavier variant with a sixteen millimeter head at one and three tenths. All you have to remember, then, is a single rule: the diameter of the head on the real machine divided by the figure of the scale. Anyone building in a larger scale divides by a smaller figure and moves up the scale.
It corresponds to hardware that holds something substantial on a machine, but not load-bearing: timing covers, the radiator mounting, tank brackets, exhaust system clamps. In such places the head is clearly visible and at the same time must not look oversized.
Before you reach for the glue, lay the part in place and step back an arm's length. From this distance a model is most often viewed and you will see at once whether the size fits. A difference that is obvious under a magnifier often disappears from a distance, and the other way round. It also helps to compare the size against a neighboring part of known dimension, for instance against the width of a pedal or the diameter of a wheel nut collar, because the figure on its own gives no idea.
