Responsibility details are not available.
An assortment of hex bolt heads in the size range 0.5 mm to 1.2 mm. Compared with individual sizes this package has the advantage that you choose the dimension at the model, where you can see how the head sits against the surrounding shapes. The small sizes around 0.5 mm suit fine flanges and lids, the middling ones ordinary bolted joints and the upper end of the range hardware that is to be visible at first glance.
The quickest check is multiplication: multiply the dimension in millimeters by the figure of the scale. A 0.5 mm head thus corresponds in 1:35 scale to roughly seventeen millimeters on the subject, a 1.2 mm head to roughly forty-two. In 1:48 scale the same pair works out at twenty-four and just under sixty millimeters. The range of this package will therefore cover most ordinary joints on aircraft as well as ground machinery.
Small parts are easily lost, so decant them onto a light surface with a rim and always take them one at a time. Fine-tipped tweezers or the moistened tip of a toothpick work well. Meter a drop of cyanoacrylate glue onto the model, not onto the part. Before you start gluing, go over the whole part and lay out where each size will go; a consistent approach row by row looks better than jumping about the surface. Painting is done only after gluing, and a dark wash around the foot of the head then separates the shape from the surface.
For modelers who detail several models at once or are not sure which size of head will suit them. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
