Fourteen tenths of a millimeter, a low hex head. A size at which it already pays to think about a mechanical fixing, not just a drop of glue on the surface.
Responsibility details are not available.
With the small grades it is enough for the part to catch on the surface and nothing happens. From fourteen tenths of a millimeter upward that stops being true. The head has a noticeable weight, it stands out of the surface and it is easily knocked while a finished model is handled. A reliable solution therefore goes through a hole into which the shank is inserted, and not through a thin layer of glue between two smooth surfaces.
Choose the hole so that the shank can be pressed in with slight resistance. Such a joint holds even without adhesive and the glue works only as a safeguard. In exposed places that are touched while the model is carried, epoxy mixed in a small amount works well. Cyanoacrylate glue is more convenient, but after years it becomes brittle and tends to bloom at the edges, which on a metal part against a colored surface shows up as a light ring.
What these places have in common is that the viewer inspects them close up and compares them with each other. It therefore pays to install a whole group of joints at once and by the same procedure, so that they resemble each other in height and rotation. An inconsistent group looks worse than a group somewhat coarser but regular. It helps to prepare a template from a strip of paper with the spacings marked in advance, hold it against the part and prick the points all at once.
