BLOOD RED

AMMO Blood Red, an AMMO acrylic paint

A water-based acrylic modeling paint from AMMO (Mig Jimenez) in a bottle of 17 ml. The deeply saturated red shade suits signal and identification markings, warning elements and the color details of equipment and figures. It is a bold, clean red that you will use for stripes and markings on aircraft, for the warning areas of vehicles and as a ground for blood effects on figures. The paint is thinnable with water, free of smell and intended for application with a brush as well as an airbrush.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; there is a stainless steel mixing ball inside that helps disperse the pigment.
• For an airbrush thin the paint with the acrylic thinner of the same brand, or with water, and spray in several thin coats.
• On a brush it can be applied with little thinning, and tools are washed with water while the paint is still wet.
• It dries in a matter of tens of minutes and cures fully in about a day.
• Store it well closed so that the paint does not thicken, and stir it again before the next use.

This is a paint, not a kit. Do not confuse water-based acrylic with lacquers or enamels; they have different chemistry and a different thinner. Work in a ventilated space and keep out of the reach of children.
