A Hataka modeling paint from the Orange Line range, a dark brown shade carried under the French name Brun Foncé.
Responsibility details are not available.
Brun Foncé is a dark brown shade from the Orange Line range of the brand Hataka; the French name means literally dark brown. On a model brown is among the hardest-working colors, because several roles meet in it: it tends to be part of camouflage schemes, it covers wooden parts and equipment, and it suits everywhere a surface is to look earthy and used.
A dark brown serves well as a ground under lighter brown tones, as a color for tarpaulins, straps, bags and wood and as a base for muddy areas of the running gear. It will also find use in shading, where shadow is deepened with it in corners and under projections without the area turning black; compared with pure black it has the advantage that the result stays warm and natural. On a large area, count on a dark shade swallowing detail, which is why it is a good idea to lighten the surface after drying.
Stir the contents thoroughly before use, as the pigment settles at the bottom. Apply in thin layers and achieve the covering by their number, not by a thicker application; a dense layer will flood the engraving and the fine details will be lost. For the thinner, the thinning ratio and the cleaning of the tools, go by the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging, because every range has its own thinner. Try the shade first on a piece of plastic treated the same way as the model.
The paint alone is supplied. Thinner, brushes and other preparations are not included in the supply, unless stated otherwise.
