Responsibility details are not available.
A saturated blue carried under the name BS Roundel Blue from the Orange Line range by Hataka. The number in the name refers to the British standard reference BS 381C, where the shade with the number 110 bears exactly the name Roundel Blue. It is the blue of British roundels, that is, the color of the markings on the fuselage and the wings of British military machines, which also appears on stripes and on rudder markings.
Stir the bottle thoroughly before use, settled pigment otherwise changes both the tone and the coverage. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging; clean brushes and the airbrush according to the same instruction. Apply in thin coats and let each one flash off before the next arrives. Saturated blue shades cover worse than light ones, so count on several coats. Wash and degrease the surface beforehand, on greasy plastic the coat does not hold.
A shade in the reference and a shade on a finished model are not the same thing: on a small area, under a clear coat and in different lighting the paint reads differently. So try it on a piece of scrap plastic before you touch the model. If you spray the roundels through a mask, press the edge of the mask carefully down onto the surface, otherwise the paint will creep under it and the roundel will lose its sharp edge. Close the bottle carefully after work and store it in the dry, away from frost and direct sun.
Thinner, brushes, masks and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
