Responsibility details are not available.
Bulkhead Grey is a gray shade from the Hataka Orange Line range. The number in brackets after the name refers to the American standard of shades Federal Standard 595, where the item carries the designation 36307. The opening three in such a five-digit number denotes a matte degree of gloss, and the further digits place the shade in the group of grays. The reference to the standard is practical: by the same number the shade can be traced in other ranges too, when you need to replace what has run out.
A neutral gray is among the most used shades on a modeling bench. It comes into its own on interiors, on bulkheads and supporting structures, on landing gear bays and on small equipment where a surface is to look technical and without a color cast. It also serves well for mixing: gray can knock back the excessive saturation of another shade without your having to brighten it with white, after which a paint always fades a little.
Stir the pot thoroughly before work, so that the settled component disperses through the whole volume; shaking alone is usually not enough for that. The thinner intended for this range and the thinning ratio are given by the manufacturer on the package; follow those instructions. Apply thin coats onto a smooth and degreased base and let each one set. A single heavy coat floods the fine relief and dries unevenly, while two or three thin ones give a smooth and uniform surface.
The model, thinner, brushes and airbrushes are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
