Chameleon BOREALIS GREEN is a Green Stuff World paint from the Chameleon range, whose green tone changes according to the angle of view.
Responsibility details are not available.
Chameleon BOREALIS GREEN belongs to the Chameleon range of the Spanish brand Green Stuff World. These are paints with a shifting look: depending on the angle you look at a surface from, the perceived tone moves, so a model never appears in one flat shade. The name refers to the aurora and to the green that flows within it. The same shade is also produced in a spray can, so the range is kept uniform.
Effect paints have a pigment that settles at the bottom of the bottle, so shake it properly before work and between the individual coats. The effect stands out most on a smooth, evenly prepared surface, where light is not broken on unevenness. Count also on such paints being harder to mask and to overspray, so it is practical to leave them until the end of the painting. Which base the manufacturer recommends and exactly how the shade shifts is not stated here, so try the result on a test area first.
It will be appreciated by modelers who want to animate a green surface and set it apart from an ordinary matte finish, and by collectors of fantasy and science-fiction models. It will also serve well on cars, where effect shades are worked with regularly.
Keep the paint out of the reach of children, work in a well-ventilated room and close the bottle carefully after every use.
