The box holds peel and stick abrasive pieces in 320 grit and an applicator handle with a tapered tip. The pieces are stuck onto the tip one after another, which creates a conical sanding surface; once a piece is worn it is taken off and replaced, without any glue being left on the handle. Grit 320 is a universal medium stage, and in modeling practice it is the one most often used before filling and before the primer coat.

Use

• Preparing the surface before the primer coat goes on and before filling.
• Truing mold seams and the marks left by nipping a part off the sprue on curved parts.
• Sanding inside conical and tubular shapes such as exhausts, barrel mouths and vents.
• Smoothing filler in recesses and corners a flat sanding block cannot reach.

For modelers of all levels. The cone tip sander deals with exactly those places where abrasive paper on a finger only slips and a file takes off more than is healthy. Grit 320 is a good first buy from the whole range: it handles most ordinary work and is fine enough that the surface does not then need lengthy leveling.

Do not breathe the sanding dust, work in a ventilated space and use a respirator and eye protection for longer sanding of resin.
