Mr.Paint Copper (30 ml)

A solvent-based metallic modeling lacquer from the Slovak maker Mr.Paint in a copper shade. It holds fine metallic pigments for a realistic copper sheen. The lacquer is pre-thinned and ready to be sprayed with an airbrush, and the package has a volume of 30 ml.

Use

  • The metallic pigments sink to the bottom, so stir the bottle thoroughly before use and during the work.
  • Meant for the airbrush only, pre-thinned for direct application.
  • It looks best on a smooth, smoothly sanded surface, ideally over a gloss base.
  • Metallics are harder to mask and to overspray, so apply them at the end of the painting.
  • It can only be thinned further with lacquer thinner, never with water.

For modelers who need a faithful copper metallic shade for detail, prominent areas or effects.

The lacquer is flammable and holds organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated space, with a respirator and away from sources of ignition.

FAQ

It is a solvent-based metallic lacquer. It is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.

The metallic pigments sink to the bottom of the bottle; without stirring the shade and the sheen would be uneven.

Metallics look best on a smooth, glossy surface and are applied at the end of the painting.

The range is meant for the airbrush only. For a brush the acrylic Mr.Paint Aqua range is more suitable.
