Consumable masking material, not a kit and not a part for a model. On the sheet there are pre-cut strips of masking tape 0.6 mm wide. They are peeled off one at a time and transferred to the model, where they serve to set the boundaries between colors. The set is universal, so you can use it whatever the scale and whatever type of subject you are building.
This width suits above all the places where you need a long and absolutely straight line. It helps to use the edge of a ruler or the edge of the model itself as a guide when laying it, and to lay the strip in one movement, because every join later shows through the paint. There is no point covering the large areas beyond the line with this tape; it is quicker to fill them with wide tape or cardboard. Before you start spraying, go over the whole edge once more with a blunt tool, because it is on long lines that a stretch of a few millimeters that has not seated turns up most often.
For modelers who work with an airbrush and want repeatably clean boundaries between shades without having to cut tape from a roll with a scalpel.
This is consumable masking material. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
