About product

D1 Deep Green Black - an AK Interactive acrylic paint (17 ml)

A water-thinnable 3rd generation acrylic paint in the deep dark green-black Deep Green Black shade designated D1. It is the period tone of the upper surfaces of Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft. The paint has high pigmentation, a scale-faithful finish and good coverage from the first coat.

Use

  • The dark green-black of the upper surfaces of Japanese naval aircraft.
  • Applied with a brush and with an airbrush; for an airbrush, thin it with 3rd generation acrylic thinner or with water.
  • Once dry it resists oils, enamels and washes, so it takes further weathering.
  • Suitable for dark camouflage with subsequent paint chipping and weathering.

Who it is for

For aircraft modelers focused on Japanese naval aircraft of the Second World War who are looking for a faithful deep dark green-black shade for a brush and for an airbrush.

The paint is water-thinnable and non-toxic. When airbrushing, work in a ventilated space and do not breathe in the atomized mist; keep it out of the reach of children.
