DakkaDakka - Kill Obsessed Squad - Khorne Backpacks 1:48

This is a modeling accessory for figures from the DakkaDakka range by Green Stuff World, specifically backpacks from the Kill Obsessed Squad sub-range. It is not a figure and not a standalone model but the part added to a figure's back. The sub-range is pitched in a fantasy and science-fiction style; the name of the sub-range is the manufacturer's designation in the original wording.

Why the back of a figure is worth attention

The back is the most often neglected part of a figure, even though it is visible from half the angles both on the playing surface and in a display case. A backpack gives the silhouette volume, breaks up a flat area and helps tell the individual pieces in a unit apart without anything having to be done to the front of the figure. The DakkaDakka range is divided up by body part, so a backpack from one sub-range can be joined to a torso or pauldrons from another and give a version of your own. With back parts in particular, a combination like that is the least conspicuous and the easiest to use.

What to look at before buying

• The backpack changes the silhouette of a figure; check that it does not get in the way of handling on the playing surface.
• Judge compatibility with a particular figure from the dimensions given by the manufacturer.
• The number of pieces in the package and the material are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
• The 1:48 figure is the manufacturer's designation for the whole DakkaDakka range.
• Backpacks combine across the DakkaDakka sub-ranges.

Who the accessory is for

For modelers who finish figures in detail from every side, and for tabletop players who want their unit to have a style of its own. It also serves well where figures stand in a display case and are seen from behind.

This is an accessory for figures, not a standalone model. The look and the division of the parts differ between the individual DakkaDakka sub-ranges.
