Alclad II Enamel Dark Neutral Grey is a darker neutral gray in enamel form, thinned with solvent, suitable for contrasting areas and shading.
Responsibility details are not available.
Dark Neutral Grey is a darker neutral gray from the enamel range of the Alclad brand. It forms the natural counterpart of the light variant of the same name and is used where contrast is needed: upper surfaces, the darker fields of two-color schemes, shading of joints and traces of use. It is a synthetic enamel thinned with solvent, not an acrylic and not a lacquer.
A dark gray often becomes the base for washes and for accenting panel lines, and it is exactly here that caution is needed. Most modeling washes are also solvent-based, so they would disturb a fresh enamel base. Let the paint cure completely, therefore, and put a barrier coat compatible with enamel between the paint and the wash. Only on that can you work with a wash, wipe excess away and make repairs if need be, without rubbing through to the base layer.
For modelers who work with contrast and shading and want both the dark and the light neutral gray from the same enamel range, with identical behavior.
The product contains flammable solvents. Work in a well ventilated space, away from open flame and out of the reach of children.
