Dipping ink 60 ml - Amberglow Dip (Green Stuff World)

An acrylic ink from the Dipping Ink line from the brand Green Stuff World, in a 60 ml package. The line is built for the dipping technique: the ink is applied in a rich layer or the model is dipped directly into it, the surplus is left to drip off and the material runs into the recesses. There it darkens and creates a shadow, while the edges and raised places stay light. The result is quick shading of a whole figure in one step.

What it is and what it is not

It is not an opaque paint. The ink is a toning one - its final impression always depends on what shade the base under it has. On a light base color it looks different from a dark one, and that is why it pays to try it out first on a test part or on a figure that did not come off.

Use

• Stir the bottle thoroughly before every use, because the pigment settles at the bottom.
• Apply only onto a dry base coat; on fresh paint the ink bleeds unevenly.
• After dipping, let the figure drip head down and draw the surplus at the feet and in the recesses away with a brush.
• Once it has dried, add highlights to the edges and fix the whole model with varnish according to the sheen you want.
• Wash your tools right after the work, because dried acrylic will not come off easily.
