About product

2.0 mm drill bit (Mineshima)

A separate steel modeling drill bit of 2.0 mm diameter from the Japanese maker Mineshima. It is intended for drilling holes precisely in plastic, resin and soft metal parts. The cylindrical shank is held in a hand drill holder, thanks to which you drill sensitively and have full control over the depth and the direction.

Use

  • Drilling holes for thicker pins, wheel axles or braces.
  • Widening a smaller pilot hole to the target diameter.
  • Holes for routing wires, lighting cables or tubes.
  • Work in plastic, resin and thin soft metal.

Who it is for

For modelers who need a reliably placed hole of a larger diameter without damaging the surrounding material. Hold the bit in a pin vise; that is not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.

The tip is sharp. Drill square and without sideways pressure, back the part up and store the tool out of the reach of children.

Yes, the bit is held in a hand drill holder (a pin vise), which is not included, unless stated otherwise.

Plastic, resin and soft metal. Drill slowly and square, so that the material does not fray and the bit does not snap.
