Dry earth ground - texture paste (100 ml)

This is an acrylic modeling paste intended for creating a realistic surface of dry, parched earth on dioramas, vignettes and display bases. It is neither a paint nor a kit but a ready-made textural compound that can be used straight away. The package holds 100 ml.

Use

  • Apply it with a spatula, a flat brush or a modeling scraper in thinner layers.
  • The paste can be mixed with pigments and other textures to fine-tune both shade and coarseness.
  • It is thinned, and the tools are cleaned, with plain water.
  • Once dry, the surface can be sanded down and worked over with washes or pigments.

Who it is for

For diorama builders and modelers who put together groundwork bases for vehicles, figures and buildings. Thanks to its wide range of use it suits everything from large scales down to the small ones.

Allow it at least 24 hours to dry. The product is odorless and non-toxic; even so, keep it out of the reach of children and do not swallow it.

FAQ

No, it is a textural acrylic paste for building up a ground surface. It can be colored with pigments or washes once dry.

Both the paste and the tools can be thinned and cleaned with plain water as long as it has not dried.

Allow it at least 24 hours; thicker layers take longer.

It can be used across a wide range, roughly from 1:16 down to 1:72.
