Spitfire Mk.I / Mk.II / Mk.V early cockpit door 1:72 is a 3D-printed detail accessory for a more faithful rendering of the cockpit entry door.
Responsibility details are not available.
An aftermarket accessory, not a model in its own right. The set contains a 3D-printed cockpit entry door for the early versions of the Supermarine Spitfire fighter (Mk.I, Mk.II and Mk.V early) in 1:72 scale. The thin-walled part looks more faithful than the plastic one and makes it possible to show the door in the open position with the inside rendered. According to the product name the set is recommended for the Eduard kit.
The Supermarine Spitfire is one of the best-known British fighters of the Second World War. The early Mk.I and Mk.II versions became famous in the Battle of Britain, and the Mk.V was then a widely deployed variant. The hinged entry door on the left side of the fuselage is a detail that markedly raises the fidelity of a model with an open cockpit.
Wash the parts to remove uncured print resin residue, separate them carefully from the print supports and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Handle the thin parts with care and sand with respiratory protection. Unify the surface with a base color before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
