The kit holds a detailed chassis with crossmembers, tandem axles, support legs and side panels; an optional refrigeration (reefer) unit is usually included as well.
Trailers 53 feet long are today the most common type of trailer on North American highways. They carry both loose and palletized freight, and in the version with a refrigeration unit they carry goods at a controlled temperature.
The large flat walls call for careful cleaning up and an even primer. Assemble and paint the chassis and the axles before finishing; washes and pigments will add realistic traces of use. Glue the chrome parts with an adhesive that does not fog the surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
