The Chevy II Nova is a compact Chevrolet model of the 1960s. Resto mod describes the style in which a car keeps its period looks but is modernized, for example with a stronger engine, modern wheels and an improved chassis. It is a popular direction among American conversions.
A glossy body comes out best with an airbrush and a gloss clear coat; glue the chrome and clear parts with an adhesive that does not fog the surface. The interior and the engine bay reward careful painting and a gentle accentuation of the details.
