The Ironclad Sekibune 1:350 from Tori Factory is a resin kit of two Japanese ironclad warships of the sekibune type for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin kit in 1:350 scale intended for more experienced modelers. The package holds two ships of the sekibune type in the ironclad rendition. The parts are supplied unassembled and unpainted and suit both standalone display and a naval diorama from the period of the Asian war fleets.
The sekibune was a medium-sized Japanese warship used in the period of feudal Japan, among other things in the naval clashes of the 16th century. The ironclad version is a ship strengthened with armor plating, which gave the crew better protection in battle.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate); wear respiratory protection while sanding. The wooden surfaces of the hull and the deck come out well with layered painting and a wash, and the metal and armored parts can be picked out with a dry brush. The ship can be mounted on a stand or set into a water surface of modeling resin.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
