HEKI Fruit Trees 50 to 80 mm, 5 pcs

Five finished model trees from the German maker HEKI, fifty to eighty millimeters tall, that is, five to eight centimeters. The spread of sizes in one box matches what a real orchard looks like: the trees are not all the same age and some were planted later. You can recognize fruit species by the shorter trunk and the broad, low-set crown that regular pruning gives them.

How to work with the small trees

The small trees are pushed into a pre-drilled hole or glued by the foot of the trunk. In an orchard plant them in rows at roughly equal spacing, but keep the heights uneven. The smaller pieces in the box suit exactly those places where it should be visible that the orchard was filled in over time. Add grass or low growth under the crown and the transition from the ground will not look abrupt.

Who the set is for

For builders of rural layouts and dioramas and for modelers who need several smaller trees at once. The five can be supplemented with taller fruit trees of the same brand, and the orchard then looks as though it came into being gradually. This is modeling material, not a toy. The manufacturer marks its scenery products as unsuitable for children under fifteen.
