Autumn electrostatic grass

HEKI autumn static grass, grass fibers for electrostatic application

Loose grass fibers in an autumn range of colors, intended for application with a static grass applicator. The fiber holds a static charge, so during application it stands up vertically and the area then looks like real turf, not like glued-on dust. The autumn shades suit late-summer and autumn scenes, the margins of fields, embankments and unmown patches between buildings.

Use

• First coat the area with PVA glue or with a glue meant for grass fibers.
• Apply the fibers with the applicator and push the ground clip into the glue or into the base.
• Apply in several layers and shades; a uniform area looks unnatural.
• Once it has dried, vacuum up the surplus and return it to the pack; the fibers can be used again.
• For an autumn scene you can mix the fibers with dry grass and with fine leaf scatter.

Who it is for

For builders of layouts, dioramas and display-case scenes who already have a static grass applicator. Without an applicator the fibers can be scattered into the glue, but they will not stand up and the result is flatter. The shade also suits finishing scenes that already have green turf and need a touch of the color change at the end of the season.

This is a loose material, so work in still air, do not breathe the fibers in and close the pack after the work. Glue and an applicator are not included in the package.
