A sheet of decals with labels for bottled water in 1:35 scale. A small thing that turns the bottles and crates on a diorama into credible supply material.
Responsibility details are not available.
Bottled water is among the most common equipment of civil and military scenes alike. An empty bottle without a label, however, looks on a diorama like a transparent cylinder; only printing gives it scale and legibility. The sheet in 1:35 scale brings labels that are applied to bottles of resin or plastic.
On a supply scene, at a field kitchen, in the bed of a truck, on a table in an interior or among the rubbish at a checkpoint. It also works well in combination with crates: a few labeled bottles on top are enough for a viewer to believe in the whole box.
Cut every label out as closely as possible, so that no glossy film is left around the edges. Soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it begins to slide freely on the backing. Coat the base with a gloss varnish beforehand; on a smooth surface the decal will not go matte. On the rounded wall of a bottle a decal softener helps, which draws the label onto the surface without creases. If the bottle is of clear plastic, count on the label showing through and back it from the inside with a strip of light paint. Draw the excess water off with a paper tissue and fix the finished piece with a varnish according to how glossy the bottle is to be.
For builders of dioramas and display cases who are finishing the small things around the main model. The package contains only the decal sheet; bottles, figures and varnishes are not part of it, unless stated otherwise.
