An accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale focused on the imprints of boot soles, German and Soviet alike, from the period of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
Tracks are a detail that gives a diorama movement even when nothing on the base is moving. By them a viewer recognizes where the figures came from, which way a squad passed and where it stopped. A muddy road without a single imprint looks untouched and gives the whole scene away faster than a badly fitted part of a vehicle.
The set is listed in 1:35 scale and focuses on the imprints of boot soles from the Second World War, German and Soviet alike. Distinguishing the two sides is practical: in one scene it allows you to suggest that both armies passed through, or on the contrary to keep the tracks uniform according to the unit you are building. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the form of the set and the procedure for working with it.
Lay the tracks out dry first. They have to follow on from the stance of the figures, point in one direction and have the regular spacing of a stride; two prints side by side at the same level look like a jump with the feet together. Deep imprints belong in soft mud and fresh snow, while on a hard-packed road only a hint is left. Less is more: a few distinct tracks work better than a trampled area. Once the tracks are made, bring them out with a darker shade in the hollow and a lighter one at the rim, so that they are visible in a photograph too.
Terrain material, a base, figures, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
