Road markings are one of the few elements a viewer reads in a diorama without explanation. They fix the place, hint at the direction and give the scene scale. This item is the third part of the series and completes the previous sets of Ukrainian markings for scenes with modern vehicles.
In the package there are road signs in 1:35 scale made of tin plate, designated as part 3. The composition of the signs is given by the manufacturer on the packaging; the items of the series complement one another, so that no sign has to repeat along a longer section of road.
Prepare the posts from a thin strip or from wire and sink their feet into the terrain, then cover the joint with soil or growth. Cut the tin plate with tin snips, or score it and break it, and sand the edges. Before painting, wash the surface, degrease it and lay down a primer intended for smooth surfaces. Do not stand the signs on one level and in line with one another, as a slight turn and lean looks more believable than exact rows.
It suits builders of dioramas of modern conflicts who are putting together a longer section of road and need more than a couple of signs. The model, figures, a base, posts, paints and glue are not included, unless stated otherwise.
