A stove with a hotplate and a drying rail in 1:35 scale, version number 2. An accessory for an interior scene and for a diorama.
Responsibility details are not available.
A stove with a hotplate was the center of every kitchen throughout the first half of the twentieth century: cooking was done on it, it heated water, things were dried by it and in winter the whole household gathered around it. In a diorama it is therefore enough to stand it against a wall and the scene stops working as an empty set piece. The drying rail above the hotplate moreover offers a place for the small things that tell a story: a hung-up cloth, mittens or a piece of equipment put there to dry out.
A stove with a hotplate and a drying rail in 1:35 scale in the version designated by the number 2. Stoves of this kind come out in several versions, and the number in the name distinguishes them from one another. Check the number of parts and the material against the manufacturer's information on the packaging.
Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts and according to the manufacturer's instructions. The hotplate and the rings on it tend to be the lightest place on the whole stove, because they were rubbed by pots; the body on the contrary keeps a darker tone and soot gathers around the door. The drying rail will benefit from having something hanging on it and sagging, because an empty rail looks unfinished. Dust the horizontal surfaces with a fine pigment, so that the stove does not look freshly unpacked.
Paints, glue, figures and a base for a diorama are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
