A decal sheet in 1:72 scale with the insignia of the Ukrainian Air Force and with motifs connected to the Ghost of Kyiv designation.
Responsibility details are not available.
The designation Ghost of Kyiv appeared in 2022 and quickly became established in the imagery of the period. The sheet refers to it by name; a particular machine and a pilot are not stated here, and you will therefore not find such details. Besides that, the sheet carries ordinary national insignia and supplementary markings of the Ukrainian Air Force, of the kind modelers in 1:72 scale need most often.
The composition of the motifs, the number of variants and the machines the markings are intended for are given in the instructions enclosed with the sheet. Go by them, because the layout of the sheet differs between releases.
Prepare the surface under the decal smooth and glossy, as on a matte surface the edges of the film will show. Cut the motif out together with its backing, soak it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it stand a while until it comes free. After moving it onto the model, adjust the position, draw the excess water off with a soft cloth and let it dry; into recesses and onto riveting you will settle the motif with a decal softener. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is not a self-adhesive version, because a soaked self-adhesive film is ruined.
The decal sheet is supplied on its own. Paints, varnish, decal softener and a model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
