The tarpaulin of the load bed for a model of the Unimog U1300L military truck in 1:72 scale. According to the name for the ACE 72450 kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Unimog U1300L is an off-road truck, listed in the name as a military vehicle of the two-ton class. On military vehicles the load bed is covered with a tarpaulin stretched over hoops. The tarpaulin holds the shape of the hoops, sags slightly between them and gathers and is drawn in at the rear end, so the shape never looks like a smooth box.
The tarpaulin of the load bed for a model in 1:72 scale as a ready-shaped part. According to the name it is intended for the ACE 72450 kit. It replaces building a tarpaulin from plastic parts, and above all imitating one where a kit offers nothing but bare hoops.
First seat the part dry on the bed and check whether it sits down around its whole perimeter; sand small unevennesses of the lower edge, so that the tarpaulin does not stand higher on one side. Cut excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and level the remainder. Check the material against the information on the packaging and choose the glue accordingly; on a material other than polystyrene, glue for plastic models has no effect. Wash the part and degrease it before painting. Apply the paint in thin coats; a dark wash will then draw the shadows into the folds and a light pass with a dry brush along the edges will bring the taut places out. Finally a matte varnish, as tarpaulin fabric must not be glossy.
The kit of the vehicle, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
