A simplified snap-fit kit of the Soviet medium tank T-34/85 in 1:100 scale from Zvezda from the Art of Tactic range. The model consists of a few parts that click together without glue and still keep the typical look of the late T-34 version with its larger turret and longer 85 mm gun. A base with a flag for the Art of Tactic tabletop game is usually included in the package. Suitable for wargamers and for collectors of equipment in a small scale.
The T-34/85 was an improved version of the famous medium tank that from 1944 received a new three-man turret with a more powerful 85 mm gun. The heavier gun improved its chances against heavier German tanks, while the roomier turret made the crew's work easier. The T-34/85 was built in large numbers and stayed in service long after the war.
You will build the model in a moment without glue, and the joints can be strengthened with a drop of cyanoacrylate. Apply a light base and the basic green shade and bring out the edges with dry-brushing. A dark wash in the recesses and fine dust pigments on the running gear give depth and a worn appearance even to a small model.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
