An injection-molded plastic kit of the McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II in 1:144 scale from Academy.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the legendary American F-4E Phantom II jet fighter-bomber in 1:144 scale from Academy. It is a compact model with two jet engines and the characteristic two-seat cockpit. The small 1:144 scale makes it an ideal space-saving piece for a collection of jet aircraft and a suitable type for a faster build.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat twin-engine supersonic fighter-bomber, one of the most successful combat aircraft of the Cold War. The F-4E version was armed with a built-in cannon and it belonged among the most widespread variants, deployed above all in the war in Vietnam and with a number of other air forces. The Phantom was notable for its powerful engines, its long range and its ability to carry a wide array of armament.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the cockpit before you close the fuselage. Lay down primer before painting and apply the paints with an airbrush; colorful schemes of the US Air Force and the US Navy are typical and they suit a fine emphasis of the panel lines. Paint the external stores and the armament separately and fit them at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
