The package contains plastic parts and a decal sheet; the exact contents and the schemes are given in the instructions supplied. Given the dimensions of the real aircraft, this is a sizeable model even in 1:144 scale.
The C-5 Galaxy is among the largest military transport aircraft in the world. The C-5M Super Galaxy version came about through an extensive upgrade of older machines that included new, more powerful engines, reworked avionics and a range of systems improvements. The aim of the program was to extend the life of the aircraft by decades and to increase both range and reliability. The Super Galaxy thus continues to form the backbone of United States strategic air transport.
On a large aircraft, pay attention to gluing the fuselage and the wings firmly and to weighting the nose if needed so that it does not sit on its tail. Fill and sand the joints. The large surfaces are best painted with an airbrush over a primer; use masking for clean transitions between shades and apply the decals over a smooth gloss coat compatible with the paint used.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
