Responsibility details are not available.
This is an injection-molded plastic kit in the small 1:144 scale issued as a Starter kit. The package is conceived for an easy build: it holds plastic parts for one aircraft (including a clear sprue), small photo-etched parts and a decal sheet with a scheme in the Pilot School training form. Thanks to its size it is a quick and undemanding build, suitable for a cabinet with several aircraft as well.
The Grumman OV-1 Mohawk was an American twin-engine turboprop aircraft for observation and battlefield reconnaissance, characteristic for its high-set wings, triple vertical tail surfaces and a glazed nose for a good view for the crew. The OV-1B version carried reconnaissance equipment; in the school role Mohawks served to train crews.
In a small scale, clean the parting lines up carefully and keep the paint coats thin, so that the engraving does not disappear. Glue the clear nose and cockpit with a cement for clear parts and mask them before spraying. For fine schemes an airbrush is an advantage, and the decals go onto a glossy base.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
